David is the designer of the STONECLAD hardware and the suggested installation suggestions. He is an accomplished stonemason and quarryman with more than two decades in the industry.

David applied his knowledge and experience developing the seismic resistant stone tie and stone clip. Moving completely away from the use of brick ties in stonework to these rigid systems will ensure safer outcomes in seismic events where stone will be held more securely in place.

His qualifications include:

Stonemasonry (Level 5), B-grade quarry manager, Worksafe Extractives Certificate of Competence (CoC), New Zealand Certificate in Blasting (shotfirers license), W, T & R (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers), Pre Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC), DipHort.
