STONECLAD STONE TIES

STONECLAD Stone Ties resemble traditional brick ties in shape, and they are just as quick and easy to install, but their ribbed edges and cut-outs will enhance the mortar holding strengths.

Its design also makes it more forgiving to human error in installation. This is important as often stonework is not installed by qualified stonemasons.

The 130mm Stone Tie has been laboratory tested to hold 10,000kN.

Stone Tie spacings should carefully follow the engineers specification as loading and anchors need to be distributed correctly to maintain the strength needed to withstand a sizable seismic event. NZS4210 provides the principal new build reference for veneer construction.
